August 5, 2026 | One of the most important decisions a company can make is who it invites to help shape its future. I’m delighted to welcome Jonathan (Jon) Gill as Technical Advisor to the Board of NVRO Metals, with his nomination to stand for election as a director at our upcoming AGM.

Jon brings more than 50 years of mining experience spanning operations, project development and corporate governance. His career has included senior executive roles with Inco and directorships with Agnico Eagle, Kirkland Lake Gold and Lake Shore Gold. He has been involved in some of the mining industry’s most significant technical and operational projects.

For me, this appointment is about more than adding another highly respected mining executive to the Board. It reflects the increasing recognition that the future of mining is not simply about discovering new ore bodies. It is also about unlocking value from the enormous resources that already exist in mine waste, tailings and complex sulphidic materials.

The industry is changing. Tailings that were once regarded as long-term environmental, social and financial liabilities are increasingly being recognised as valuable mineral inventories that can potentially be transformed into new sources of critical minerals and precious metals.

This transition requires not only innovative technology, but experienced mining people who understand how to safely build, operate and scale industrial assets.

Jon’s experience will be invaluable as NVRO progresses the development of the NVRO Metals Hub and works towards demonstrating that responsible resource recovery can become an important new asset class within the global mining industry.

Welcome aboard, Jon. I and Team NVRO look forward to working with you.
