We are seeking a Senior Accountant to partner with the CFO in supporting our expanding international operations. This role is ideally suited to an experienced finance professional with a background in the mining, resources, or industrial sectors.

Applicants based in Perth or Darwin are preferred, with hybrid working arrangements available.

About the Role

Reporting to the CFO, you will be responsible for Group financial reporting, consolidations, statutory reporting, tax compliance, and treasury across a growing multi-jurisdictional business.

Key Responsibilities

· Group Accounting & Consolidation

· Own the month-end and year-end close process across all Group entities, including the consolidation of foreign subsidiaries

· Manage foreign currency translation, FX revaluations, and consolidation eliminations in line with applicable accounting standards (IFRS / AASB)

· Prepare monthly consolidated management accounts, including P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow, with variance analysis and commentary for the CFO

· Maintain the Group chart of accounts and ensure mapping consistency across entities

· Review and approve journals, reconciliations, and intercompany positions prepared by the Accounts Officer

Statutory Reporting & Audit

· Prepare quarterly and annual statutory financial statements for all Group entities under relevant Canadian GAAP/IFRS

· Manage the external audit process end-to-end, acting as the primary point of contact for auditors

Tax

· Coordinate Group income tax compliance across jurisdictions, working with external advisors

· Manage the R&D Tax Incentive (R&DTI) claim process: eligibility assessment, expenditure tracking, documentation, and lodgement

· Review indirect tax returns and ensure compliance across GST/BAS, VAT, and equivalent regimes

Treasury & Controls

· Support cash flow forecasting and management across multi-currency bank accounts

· Design and maintain the Group’s internal control framework and finance procedures

· Manage banking relationships, signatory matrices, and treasury workflows

Skills & Experience

• CA or CPA qualified
• Mining industry accounting experience will be viewed favourably. Candidates from mining, resources, engineering, or related industrial sectors are encouraged to apply.

• CA or CPA qualified (essential)
• 5+ years’ experience in financial accounting or corporate reporting
• Experience with Group consolidations and multi-entity reporting
• Strong knowledge of IFRS and statutory reporting
• Mining, resources, engineering, or industrial sector experience highly regarded
• Experience working across multiple jurisdictions is an advantage
• Highly organised with strong analytical and communication skills

Principal Metallurgist

We are seeking a Chief Metallurgist (CM) to lead NVRO’s metallurgical development programs across laboratory, pilot, and demonstration scales. The role combines deep technical expertise in flotation and hydrometallurgy (acid leaching, gas management, and downstream recovery) with the ability to design, coordinate, and interpret structured test work that feeds directly into process modelling and engineering design.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design and execution of metallurgical test work programs across NVRO’s proprietary flowsheet from early-stage characterisation to pilot and demonstration-scale validation.
• Design and implement standardised test work protocols and QA/QC procedures for internal and third-party laboratories.
• Manage sampling, test work and analytical programmes associated with client projects, ensuring data integrity and traceability.
• Coordinate test campaigns and analytical programs at Perth-based laboratories and NVRO’s internal facilities.
• Develop and maintain commercially and professionally advantageous relationships with commercial and academic labs in Australia, USA and Canada for analytical, mineralogical and metallurgical support.
• Oversee and review acid leaching and gas management test work and operations, ensuring data supports NVRO’s process modelling.
• Collaborate with the process engineering team and clients to interpret results into digital models, mass and energy balances and design criteria for feasibility studies and plant design.
• Manage data capture and reporting systems for laboratory and pilot campaigns, ensuring alignment with engineering deliverables.
• Provide technical mentorship and leadership to metallurgists, technicians and laboratory staff.
• Participate in technical reviews, client presentations and collaborative engineering studies with NVRO’s partners (e.g., Hatch, Andritz).

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Metallurgical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or Minerals Processing.
• Minimum 10+ years’ experience in mineral processing, with proven expertise in flotation and hydrometallurgical systems.
• Demonstrated experience with acid leaching systems, including oxidation, gas management and process control in sulphide leaching environments.
• Relevant experience in execution and managing laboratory and pilot test work programs and translating results into engineering and process design data.
• Strong knowledge of analytical methods, sample preparation, and metallurgical accounting.
• Established relationships with Perth-based metallurgical and analytical laboratories (ALS, Auralia, Core Resources, etc.) essential.
• Exposure to or collaboration with digital process modelling platforms (e.g. Andritz IDEAS, METSIM, SysCAD, or OLI) advantageous.
• Experience in process development and technology commercialisation highly valued.
• Excellent data interpretation, technical writing, and project communication skills.
